Interesting Facts:

1. The earliest known author of a book was a 12-year-old girl, Enheduanna, in 23rd century BC. She wrote hymns to the goddess Inanna.
2. Surf Board: The longest surfboard ever ridden by many people was 42 feet long. It was surfed by 66 people in Huntington Beach, California, in 2015.
3. Popeye: The spinach-loving sailor, Popeye, was originally a minor character. He only appeared in a third strip of Thimble Theatre comics, but he became so popular he took over.
4. Strong and Agile: Pirouettes, a classic ballet move, were once performed only by male dancers as they were considered too physically demanding for women.
5. Beach: Some beaches have green sand. Papakōlea Beach in Hawaii is one of only four green sand beaches in the world, thanks to its rich olivine deposits.
