StrumHare: The Melodic Symphony of Kentuckys Enchanted Wilderness

In Kentuckys song-filled landscapes dwells the StrumHare, a whimsical jackrabbit-like creature born of banjos and guitar picks. Its glossy, banjo-shaped body, guitar-string tail, and tuning peg ears create a melodic silhouette. Strumming rhythmic tunes on its belly with pick-tipped feet, it fills the wilderness with its enchanting symphony.

Interesting Facts:

1. Banjo: In the early 19th century, banjos had a gourd body and a wooden fretless neck. The fretless version functions much like a violin.

2. Kentucky: It has more navigable miles of water than any other state in the union, excluding Alaska, with over 1,000 miles of well-maintained waterways.

3. Guitar pick: Brian May of the legendary rock band Queen famously uses a sixpence coin as a guitar pick for a sharper, more defined sound.

4. Music: The worlds oldest known song is a Sumerian hymn written 3,400 years ago and is known as Hurrian Hymn no.6.

5. Kentucky: The famous Kentucky Derby is the oldest continually held horse race in the country. It began in 1875, even before the light bulb was invented.
