Song of the Victorian Bird: A Luminous Tale in the Amazon

In the pristine Amazon, a radiant creature, a fusion of ornate Victorian attire and breathtaking avian species, thrilled the green canvas. It fluttered, donned in a bustle dress and frock coat, its eyes intricate tales. Its lifebird song echoed, setting the jungle ablaze with soft, luminous colors of an ending day.

Interesting Facts:

1.

There are about 10,000 bird species worldwide; about 1,300 of them (13%) are threatened with extinction.

2.

The Amazon Jungle is often referred to as the lungs of the Earth because it produces around 20% of the worlds oxygen.

3.

The suns core is so hot that a piece of it the size of a pinhead would give off enough heat to kill a person 160 kilometers away.

4.

Pretty originated in late Middle English (as a term of approval or admiration): probably a shortening of apretty ( Old English), a trick’, ‘a cunning device’.

5.

The jungle is the home of an estimated half of the worlds species. Most of the jungles in the world are in Central and South America, Africa and southern Asia.

Poem:

Birds chatter in Amazons deep,
Underneath the sun’s glowing weep.
Pretty are the tales they tell,
In the jungle, where a myriad species dwell.
